Our Why

Most families who come to Sage Co. already know something is wrong. A child gets sick and you can't find out why. Sleep won't come. Allergies or asthma that doctors can't quite resolve. Eczema that flares in winter. A persistent cough. Headaches no one can trace. Fatigue that doesn't lift.
You've done the obvious things. You've cleaned the house. You've changed the food. You've tried supplements. Nothing moves the needle.
What almost no one examines is the space itself. The air you breathe every day. The moisture hiding in the walls. The materials you're surrounded by. Everything a home quietly does to a body while that body is trying to heal.
The difference is that a home can be read. What's wrong can be found, and it can be fixed. That's the work: a certified, seven-domain assessment of what your home is doing to your family — and the construction expertise to correct it, not just name it.
We're here because your home should be a place where your family thrives, not just survives.

Founder
Co-FOunder — Construction & Execution
Jake Rangel founded Sage Co. to merge the two forces that have shaped his life: building and health.
A Marine Corps veteran and lifelong builder, Jake grew up around construction and spent his career learning how homes go together. Alongside it ran a second pursuit — health, performance, and the discipline of taking care of the body. For years the two stayed in separate lanes.
The shift came in the Montana backcountry. Through Heroes & Horses — built on one motto, Know Thyself — Jake spent days deep in the mountains, away from noise, artificial light, and the relentless signal of modern life. His nervous system did something it hadn't done in years. It rested. Horses don't lie; they respond only to a regulated nervous system, and in that stillness Jake felt what real regulation feels like. Picking sage from a mountain bush, the idea became clear.
He came home and saw his environment differently — the air, the materials, the light, the moisture in the walls. Everything a home quietly does to the body. The two passions he'd always kept separate, construction and wellness, were the same work seen from different sides.
His background sharpens it: construction management, property inspection, and insurance adjusting — a rare combination that trains the eye to see how buildings fail, not just how they're built. Sage Co. is where those passions finally meet, built for people who already know something is wrong and are ready to find out what their home has been doing to them.
Raul brings 42 years of construction mastery and an uncompromising standard: do not cut corners, do not move on until it is right, and never let a client inherit a problem you chose to overlook. He has earned the trust of institutional clients and private luxury homeowners alike. As his own awareness of health has grown, so has his conviction that materials, air quality, and moisture matter as much as structure. At Sage Co., he leads all construction execution and sub contractor relationships.
The built environment is the most persistent biological input your body receives. We believe a home should heal and restore, providing an evidence-based foundation for a life of purpose, longevity, and true wellness.
